The objectives of this presentation are:
- Identify the emotional and physical impact of younger-onset dementia
- Explore ethical implications of issues specific to younger-onset dementia
- Discuss how the diagnosis influences family dynamics
- Analyze strategies to overcome the challenges associated with younger-onset dementia

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Ann Marie McDonald, MBA, MEd, and Outreach Manager, Alzheimer’s Association, Houston and Southeast Chapter
Ann Marie has worked with the Alzheimer’s Association in various capacities for over eight years. She has a passion for educating the community on dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and/or related dementia. She has responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, education of professionals and families, helping families find local resources, working with local committees, and the planning and coordination of WALKS.
