How We Can Transform Ourselves: My Journey From Breast Cancer
October 19, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Certain that longevity was her birthright, Ruth was stunned to be diagnosed with breast cancer at 42 while nursing her baby. After treatment, she was determined to effect change. Galvanized to help others, Ruth began lobbying at the Knesset (Israeli parliament) and at local municipalities to promote health and equal access to medical care for Israeli and Palestinians women, including ultraorthodox women, women hailing from the periphery, and women with disabilities. Her message: empowered, we can all transform ourselves.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
