Lunch and Learn: Self-Esteem and Our 2015 Teens

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This presentation will focus on ways our teens’ self-esteem is affected by issues going on in today’s society and healthy ways to help them overcome poor self-esteem. We will talk about how adults can help to facilitate the growth of healthy self-esteem and other resources for therapeutic settings if needed.
Bring your lunch, we will provide drinks.
Registration is required prior to the event. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Chari’s mission through therapy is to assist adults, teens, and children in discovering hope for the future and navigating toward their healthy goals. She also believes that counseling has a holistic approach – body, mind, emotion, and soul. Chari has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010 and licensed in Texas since 2011. Since graduation with a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Eastern Michigan University in 2005, she has successfully worked in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, domestic violence centers, foster care, crisis intervention, hospitals, and schools.
