Lunch and Learn: Reimagining Modern Day Suffering – The Search to Make Life Matter
September 28, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmFree
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Psychopathology is a word we hear thrown around in modern conversation, although does it mean what we think? Psyche and patho, originate from the Greek, “soul or breath” and “suffering,’ respectively. Where is soul when it comes to the way that doctors, therapists and psychologists approach and understand our maladies? What are we to make of our “pathologies,” “dysfunctions” and suffering?
Let us consider that what was once considered undesirable and scary could now be the threshold through which we must pass to meet with a deeper more meaningful life.
Bring your lunch, we provide the drinks.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
