ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Theresa Burke is an author and the Founder of Rachel’s Vineyard – the largest post abortion ministry in the world. Her healing programs offer a unique sensory based treatment which integrates emotional, psychological and spiritual dimensions. The healing journey uses creative “Living Scripture Exercises,” which engage the mind, body, and soul. Living Scriptures coupled with sensory activities, prayer, therapeutic facilitation, cognitive restructuring and group discussions offer an effective process for grief work grounded in Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Theresa also wrote The Grief to Grace Retreats for healing the wounds of abuse. This intensive 5 day retreat is a spiritual and psychological journey offered to anyone who is suffering from the violation, trauma, degradation and lasting effects of sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual abuse. It was created to end the isolation and secret pain and suffering of abuse victims within a supportive and confidential retreat setting.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Burke provides clinical trainings worldwide on numerous topics dealing with the impact of trauma and counseling clients on how to Feel, Deal, and Heal.
