The Spiritual Roots of AA’s 12 Steps

June 24, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This workshop brings to life the spiritual principles and practices of Alcoholics Anonymous from their Oxford Group roots to the present day. It focuses on early AA’s lost, but life-changing practice known as Two Way Prayer. The workshop is open to members of any 12 Step fellowship and to spiritual seekers of all stripes.

Many in recovery struggle to find a simple and effective prayer and meditation practice. AA Co-Founder Bill Wilson wrote: “something was lost from A.A. when we stopped emphasizing the morning meditation.” Come learn what their practice was and how you can benefit from it today.
